Help getting a grade

In one of Kai's request I have tried every possible combination but I can't seem to get a 'D'. It's the mission with Ali, I don't know if I am missing a combination, or if I am to do this one at a particular time to get it but it is the only one I can't get. Can someone help me with this?

To achieve a grade D for Ali mission you have to on purposely fail Silvio's mission first. AKa having a grade D aswell in capturing the thief mission, then when you play Ali's mission you would have two new choices in which one leads to Ali's D ending. Sorry I can't remember the exact details, but it's been quite some time since I've done the D ending of Ashraf, and I seem out of luck in finding an AO walkthrough again >.>

Funny I did the order backwards and I can unlock Ali's mission getting an A rank then doing silvio's mission to also get the A rank there maybe mine is just glitchy

Each mission is supposed to be done in a certain order in order to get an S ranking(that even means alternating between agents). So that means if you mess up the order certain missions will be available sooner or later. Also, some missions become unavailable. To super fail a mission you sometimes need to super fail everything else.

But for all of those that are needing it, here is a nice walkthrough telling you how to get certain ranks:

I am going to sound like bit of a dork here, but what is meant be "s" ending? Is this the same as "A"? I've seen both terms used, but wasn't sure if it differed from one region to the other....

If you get an A on all missions(and finish the two secret missions that are unlocked by doing so. This means all A's in the same game save!), you get a Final Overall ranking of S. You get a new Title Screen and a nice "S" marked on it too.

I had no idea that AO's grading system was so complicated. How could you possibly get it all right by chance? Some of the missions take such a long time that realizing you've done a mission in the wrong order and locked some of the others can be really heartbreaking. >_>

You can post it in the links section but it is not my walkthrough. You can message the person who made it about it but I am sure it doesn't really matter as long as they are credited.

And yes, I was horrified at learning about AO's difficult rating scheme, but the walkthrough does give you an easier time getting to all the endings you want. So all problems solved, and now all images can be unlocked!!
(and yes, some of the fails are HILARIOUS in which Kia and Louise become bottoms. )
